Hi friends, I had review the sales figures reported by different car companies for the month of June, 2008 in continuity to my previous review posted on car sales for the month of May, 2008.During the Month, Hyundai Motors India Ltd India’s second largest car maker company i.e a subsidiary of South- Korean company Hyundai Motor Co, has registered the tremendous rise of 45.3 % in its total slaes to 40,182 units compared to 27,653 units in the same month a year ago.Domestic sale of the company during June, 2008 witnesses a hike of 34% to 21,881 units as against 16,335 units during the corresponding month last year i.e June 2007 while exports of the company during this time period shot up to 18,301 units when compared with 11,318 units in June 2007. The individual sales for the cars were Santro, Getz and i10 at 33,859 units , Accent and Verna reported the sale of 6,272 units, Sonata at 47 units and SUV Tucson 4 units in June 2008.

Mahindra & Mahindra has reported a rise of 8.78% in its total sales 19,371 in the month of June,2008 as against 17,807 units in the corresponding period last year i.e June,2007.Where Domestic sales of the company witnessed a surge of 8.17% to 18,179 vehicles compared to 16, 805 units during corresponding time period previous year while exports of the company during this time period grew by 18.96% to 1,192 vehicles as compared to 1,002 vehicles year ago for June 2007.However, Mahindra-Renault Logan has shown some decline in its sales for June 2008 to 12,662 units as against 12,997 units during the same period last year.
Tata Motors, country’s largest vehicle maker has also shown a rise of 6.61% increase at 47,245 vehicles in June 2008 against 44,317 units in the same period last year.Domestic sales of the company during the month declined marginally to 17017 units as against 17418 units during the corresponding period last year. The commercial vehicles of Tata have shown an increase of 25.12% at 26,797 units compared to 21,417 units in June 2007. M&HCV sales registered a growth of 9% at 12,845 units and substantial rise of 45% in LCV stood at 13,952 units.
